How it works: Flowchart

Here you will find a step-by-step guide of the entire process of finding your internship! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

To ensure the process goes smoothly and all parties involved know what the expect. On-Stage has made an easy to follow flowchart with step-by-step explanation. If you have any questions at anytime, please don't hesitate to reach out. 

1. You read the website and the general terms and conditions

2. You register via the registration form. In your motivation letter you indicate what you want, can and must do. Based on the information received, On-Stage will get to work for you.

3. On-Stage will send you a confirmation email of your registration and give you an indication of the chance of success that we can find what you are looking for. Additional information may be requested.

4. You have a WhatsApp conversation with an On-Stage employee. On-Stage will look for a suitable internship location and will contact you with any proposals.

5. As soon as a match has been found, that is accepted by all parties (Yourself, Internship Company, University and On-Stage) and you have also chosen an internship package with any additional services, the Onstage Internship Agreement* will be drawn up. If needed an Internship Agreement from your university can now be signed. You can now book your flight ticket!

5.1 *The agreement also states how payment should be made; the first payment, Internship Intermediary Fee $375,- must be paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival. Of the total outstanding amount, 50% must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival. The other 50% can be paid in the first 2 weeks after the start of the program.

 6. After receiving the signed agreement, you will receive an invoice and a document with Tips & Advice from us, this will help you prepare for the trip to the country of destination.

7. On-Stage will now handle all practical arrangements, including accommodation, Spanish courses, and  arrival logistics such as, taxi transfers, shuttles and domestic flights.

8. Regular travel insurance is often not sufficient for longer stays and does not cover your liability for any work. In collaboration with Joho, On-Stage offers the ISIS extra option, the emergency medical costs that are not reimbursed by your health insurance are reimbursed by the Special ISIS. Furthermore, your luggage, legal liability during your internship activities (except for internships in healthcare), accidents and return to the Netherlands in case of family circumstances are also well covered with this insurance. 9. One week before departure you will receive an e-mail with some final tips and advice for your trip.

10. During your Spanish course you will receive an e-mail, one week before your first internship day with the time, date and preparations.

11. On-Stage will supervise your first internship day. This way you know where to go, who your supervisor is, what the first week will look like and, if necessary, help with translation. From this moment on it is up to you to make a success of your internship. On-Stage can be reached by email and telephone/WhatsApp if you have any problems that you cannot solve yourself in relation to your internship, housing and in case of emergencies.
