General Terms and Conditions for Internship Intermediary Services

  1. Definitions

“Intermediary” refers to Onstage Latijnsamerika, in Costa Rica legally represented by Spanish by the River SA, cédula jurídica 3-101-320172 and in Panama legally represented by Spanish by the Sea Corp., R.U.C. 311688-1-411601,  acting as a facilitator between internship candidates and host organizations.

“User” refers to any person or organization using the services of the Intermediary.

“Candidate” refers to individuals seeking internships through the Intermediary.

“Internship Provider” refers to companies or organizations offering internship opportunities.

 

  1. Scope of Services

The Intermediary offers:

Matching services between candidates and internship providers

Support with application processes (e.g., CV advice, interview prep)

Administrative assistance (e.g., contracts, documentation where applicable)

Optional value-added services (e.g., Spanish language lessons, arrival packages, accommodation, local orientation)

 

  1. Eligibility

Candidates must be at least 18 years old or have appropriate legal consent.

Internship Providers must be legally registered entities with the right to host interns.

Both parties must provide accurate, current, and complete information.

 

  1. Responsibilities of the Intermediary

To act with due diligence in facilitating connections.

To maintain confidentiality of submitted data.

To provide support within the agreed scope but not to guarantee interns performance outcomes.

 

  1. User & Obligations

Users must not provide false or misleading information.

Candidates are responsible for ensuring compliance with visa, insurance, and legal requirements.

Internship Providers must comply with local labor laws and provide a safe, lawful working environment.

 

  1. Fees and Payment

Fees (if any) for services will be clearly outlined prior to engagement.

Payment terms must be adhered to; delays may result in suspension of services.

Refunds are subject to cancellation policies defined at the time of booking or engagement.

 

  1. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).

No data will be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law or as necessary to provide the service.

 

  1. Liability

The Intermediary is not liable for actions, omissions, or disputes between Candidates and Internship Providers.

The Intermediary does not guarantee job offers, internship outcomes, or future employment.

Any legal or financial disputes must be resolved directly between the Candidate and the Internship Provider.

 

  1. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.

The Intermediary reserves the right to terminate services if there is a breach of these terms.

 

  1. Modifications

The Intermediary may amend these terms from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes.

 

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Costa Rica or Panama, depending on where the services are being provided.

Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Costa Rica or Panama, depending on where the services are being provided.
